GIRL CHILD SCHOLARSHIP

20% Scholarship for Girl Students for Intake in Undergraduate Programs at UPES for Academic Year 2021-22

This scholarship will be offered for first year on the tuition fee to all girl students taking admission in UPES in the

year 2021 subject to a minimum 70% marks in 12th board exams. The renewal of the scholarship will only be

offered for subsequent years based on the below criteria:

• The student must have enrolled at UPES for any of its Under-Graduate Programs in the Academic Year
• 2021-22
•  The student must not intermit or defer at any point of registration with UPES for his/her Under-Graduate
• Studies
• The student must have an attendance record of at least 85% in each of the semesters
• The student must obtain minimum 8 CPGA in the previous year/years.
• The student have not been debarred for appearing in the end semester examination due to shortage of
• attendance, disciplinary grounds or any other action which is against the code of conduct stated by the
• University
• The student must pass all his/her courses in the first attempt
• The student must have not appeared in any improvement exam for any of the courses for the entire
• duration of the program
• Scholarship once discontinued during the entire duration of the program will be treated as discontinuation
• of the scholarship for the entire duration of the program.

20% Scholarship for Girl Students for Intake in Postgraduate Programs at UPES for Academic Year 2021-22

This scholarship will be offered for first year on the tuition fee to all girl students taking admission in UPES in the

year 2021 subject to a minimum 60% marks in their undergraduate program. The renewal of the scholarship will

only be offered for subsequent years based on the below criteria:

• The student must have enrolled at UPES for any of its Post-Graduate Programs in the Academic Year
• 2021-22
• The student must not intermit or defer at any point of registration with UPES for his/her Post-Graduate
• Studies
• The student must have an attendance record of at least 85% in each of the semesters
• The student must obtain minimum 8 CPGA in the previous year/years.The student have not been debarred for appearing in the end semester examination due to shortage of attendance, disciplinary grounds or any other action which is against the code of conduct stated by the
• University

B.Tech

1. Merit Based Scholarship
2. Scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X and XII and 80% marks in PCM for Tech (All Streams) in Computer Science and Engineering. Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech Program. Scholarships will be allotted for the first Semester in Merit order to eligible candidates.

4. Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy
5. Scholarship amount is 50% on Tuition fee of first
6. Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers:
7. Merit order allotment of 1 seat per
8. The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students.
9. Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
10. Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Resident category)
11. Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per merit scholarship policy of the University
12. Scholarship amount is 25% of tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in first year.

BBA

1. Merit Based scholarship:

50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats of each programs in first semester for CBSE, I(Hons.) Computer Science and Engineering and State Board pass out students

Eligibility Criteria:

75% marks in class 10th and 12th

1. Uttarakhand State Board Toppers Scholarships for BBA Programs Eligibility criteria

• Minimum 80% aggregate in Class 10th and 12th in UK State Board
• 150 toppers from UK State Board
• Merit order allotment of 1 seat per
• The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand Domicile
• Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
• Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Domicile category)

Scholarship

• 25% of tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in first year
• Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per merit scholarship policy of the University
• Limited seats available in each category

LLB

1. Merit Based Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria: 75% marks in class X and XII

Scholarship:
