Prof. (Dr.) S. L. Gupta is an academician par excellence with over 30 years of experience in academics and academic administration in India and abroad. He is D. Litt., Ph.D., M. Com, and PGDM in Marketing. Before joining BIT Noida Campus as director, he has served as the head of the institution in BIT International Center, Muscat, and BIT Extension Center, Patna. He has also served BIT Noida Campus from 2006 to 2012 as Professor, Academic Coordinator, and Coordinator, Ph.D. Program.
He has played an instrumental role in revamping the academic infrastructure of BIT Muscat and BIT Patna. He is known for promoting the research environment among researchers, which has led to multiple high-quality research papers in noteworthy international publications.
Dr. Gupta has completed a Major Research Project on “Imperatives for Quality and Effective Teaching in Indian- B-Schools” sponsored by UGC and, “Detailed work Time and motion studies (WT&MS), sponsored by Bihar Rural Development Society (BRDS). He has also organized many FDPs and workshops sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (Ministry of Science and Technology), Government of India, Indian Council of Social Science Research (Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Research Methodology.
